Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Cross Bar

The Rhino-Rack Vortex bars are available in black or silver, and are cut to 7 different predefined lengths to accommodate various vehicle models. All bars feature the VGS rubber strip, which has been designed to reduce wind drag and noise, while providing added protection for your roof racks and load. Additionally, all bars include end caps.

These low-profile, elliptical-shaped crossbars create an extremely aerodynamic roof cargo management system. The Rhino-Rack Vortex crossbars are sold individually and come in black and silver options to complement the appearance of your vehicle.

To create a complete crossbar roof rack system, Rhino-Rack legs and fit kits are sold separately. These components allow you to maximize the available roof space, as the full-length bars extend past the roof rack legs.

The top channel in each bar allows you to easily attach channel-mounted carriers and accessories, while clamp-on accessories can be conveniently mounted around the bars. The rubberized Vortex strips in the top channel are designed to dramatically reduce drag and wind noise, while also keeping dirt and grime out and providing cushioning and slip resistance for your cargo.

These lightweight, structural-grade anodized aluminum bars are rustproof and long-lasting. The internal H-shaped extrusion provides exceptional strength, making them suitable for off-road and commercial use. Rhino-Rack products are built to withstand the harshest conditions, meeting both Australian and international standards. However, it is important to ensure that you load your roof within the load limits specified in your owner's manual.

For added security, the Vortex bars feature lockable cores with universal keys, which deter theft for channel-mounted accessories and carriers. Additionally, all-metal locks are available separately (Part # RRVA-LEC2) for increased security. These locks are also master key compatible.

When referencing the load rating, it is important to consult your vehicle owner's manual, as the specifications are set by the vehicle manufacturer, not the roof rack manufacturer. The Vortex bars have an on-road rating of 165 lbs and an off-road rating of 82 lbs.

To assist with the alignment of your attachments, the Vortex bars feature channel rulers to help center them on your roof.
