These Retractable Transom Straps are the next generation of boating tie downs. Featuring stainless steel corrosion resistant internals, coated S-Hooks, and a patented EZ retract system, these tie downs get you launched and on the water quickly and with no hassle. Ideal for saltwater environments, the added protective layer or powder coat will withstand the harsh demands of launching boats on the coast. Featuring anodized hardware, this tie down set will serve you well for years to come. Perfect for freshwater environments, the stainless steel option won't rust after launching your river boat or hitting the lake for a day of fun. The stainless steel option looks sharp, and includes Grade 8 mounting hardware.

Mounting these tie downs is easy. To start, drill a 1/2" hole in the frame of your trailer under the boat's anchor points. Next, insert the 17MM mounting bolt into the bottom of the tie down and thread through the trailer. Finally, tighten the assembly using the 14MM locking nut. After that, you are all set! These tie downs are designed to prevent lateral movement while the boat is being trailered. Keep in mind, the full weight of the boat will not be supported by the transom straps. These will work with a jet ski, all the way up to a pontoon boat.

If this is the case, simply contact our U.S. based customer support team and we will have replacements sent out, no questions asked! These transom straps have a working load limit of 1,000 LBS, and a max break strength of 3,000 LBS. When fully retracted, these straps are 9 inches. At max length, the straps measure 9 feet. Length can be adjusted to anywhere in between. Strap width is 2 inches.
